it doesn't feel like christmas or any kind of holiday at all.
i miss the band trip. it was bliss. i just want to go back to school.
i don't think i'm gonna have time to do everything i want to this break
i had to leave about half of the stuff i wanted to take home up at school since i had no time to pack.
i don't want to go back to work, most of the time it makes me physically ill after a shift.
i'm gonna ask to be put in dish room permanently... i liked it and didn't get sick afterward.
on the up side i got decent grades. an A in FAB, Statics and Japanese, and a C+ in Physics. i thought i was gonna get the B- in physics and make Deans list for the first time, but of well. i brought up the GPA and had a good time, that was the goal for the semester.
it's somewhat depressing and i actually miss sleeping in a room with someone else...
i miss ppl...

so here i am again. just like last year waiting for the outcome of one game to decide if i go somewhere with the band or not. the difference is that i actually get to go to this game, heh.
the weeks between thanksgiving and christmas breaks have not been as magical this semester, though they weren't bad by and stretch of the imagination....
i'm just getting restless... need to up the activity :/
less than 2 months till 21. can't wait to hit the clubs and maybe drag the boy with....
sadly i think the only way he'll go with is if i say i'm gonna need a chaperone.... i dunno
other than that, i just ate a grape and i jizzed. in. my pants.

Well I'm back at home in PennHills, only to find out that it's just gotten worse and more depressing. at first i though it was cute or something, growing up in a place that was thought of as a local ghetto. i didn't think it was bad at all, i just knew our rep and didn't think much of it. then i came to college and found out that i had a 'strange' childhood. much different than most of my friends. now it's starting to set in on me, every time i come home.
I just found out that one of my closest friends from middle school was shot in the head, killed, and burned while i was away at school this semester. i think it was only about a month ago. granted, i hadn't talked to him in a while, he and i used to be extremely close. we almost dated for a while. if i hadn't had a few of my theater/ band friends, i would have been running with his crew. I know why he was killed and the reasons behind it make it out to be quite unsuprising... he was jippping some of the guys he ran with out of their share of the loot they got from theft of houses and cars and i'm not sure what else.
even knowing that, it's still quite a blow. i didn't think it would hurt as much as it does and i'm almost regretting being told.
this place has gotten worse. it's like the new homewood or something. i'm not sure i want to come back and live here permanently after graduation any more.
i don't want to move away and leave it all behind, but i don't know if i can deal with all the heart ache. this place has thoroughly fucked me up already as it is...
though it is still home and will always be. it's where i'm from and i can never change that, not that i'd really want to anyway.

for the most part, today was not a good day.
one of the few good things was that i got a job. i'm working at west commons monday nights and saturday mornings for the rest of the semester.
other than that it mostly blows. i think i'm gonna call it a night and try to catch up tomorrow.
i can't take much more for much longer...
break can't come soon enough, but there is a bit of bittersweetness that's gonna come with break too :/ |
